ABOUT US

After spending over a decade in accounting and finance (working as a CPA both in public practice and private industry), I began to shift my focus from the "nuts and bolts" of traditional accounting, taxes and compliance to examining and facilitating the more interpersonal, human side of individual financial decision-making. After certification in financial counseling, I shifted my focus full-time to working directly with others to better understand their personal financial situations, their goals, and how they can more knowledgeably and effectively make financial choices in alignment, and in pursuit of, those goals.

I am an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC #62515328), a Certified Public Accountant (VA CPA License #41584), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
